When will I receive my photos?

  • Can I choose my favorite photographer?
    Absolutely! We highly appreciate our partnerships with agents and recognize the significance of entrusting the right photographer with your real estate images. Although all our photographers excel, our scheduling system empowers you to select your preferred photographer based on their availability. In the event that scheduling conflicts arise, rest assured that if your preferred photographer is on vacation or unavailable, another skilled member of our team will ensure your needs are met.
  • How can I grant access to my property for Virtual Tidewater's real estate photography services?
    At Virtual Tidewater, we have several options for accessing the property for our real estate photography services. You can choose to have the agent or owner meet us at the property to let us in. Alternatively, we can use a contractor lockbox that is already installed on the property. If the property has a REIN lockbox, we are able to utilize it as well, but we will need the CBS code to access the box, even if it is turned off for agent use. If you have any specific preferences or requirements for granting access to your property, please feel free to communicate them to our team, and we will be happy to accommodate your needs.
  • What areas do you cover?
    Our service extends across the expansive Hampton Roads area, encompassing Norfolk, Virginia Beach, Chesapeake, Portsmouth, Suffolk, Smithfield, Hampton, Newport News, and York County. Additionally, we travel to more distant regions such as Surry, Franklin, Moyock, Elizabeth City, Williamsburg, Gloucester, Northern Neck, East Shore, and the Outer Banks of NC. Please note that a travel fee is applied for services in these areas.
  • How should we stage the home?
    We provide a staging checklist to assist homeowners in preparing their property to be "photo-ready." While our photographers will offer guidance during the appointment if adjustments are needed, having the home ready before our arrival ensures a smooth process. We recognize that homes are lived in, and factors like children and pets may require some items to be moved. Staging holds greater significance when opting for services like 3D Tours or Video. While photography allows flexibility to avoid problem areas, 3D Tours, showcasing a complete 360-degree view, may highlight aspects that staging can effectively address. It's important to consider the suitability of 3D Tours for each home, as not all properties may benefit from this immersive experience.
  • What is the typical turnaround time for receiving photos from Virtual Tidewater?
    Photos are delivered on the next business day by 5 PM, usually first thing in the morning. Appointments on Friday or over the weekend are delivered on Monday. Other services such as video and virtual staging take an extra day to deliver. If you require your photos to be delivered on the same day as the appointment, we do offer a rush service for an additional $25. Rush orders are delivered by midnight and subject to availability.
  • How will I receive my photos?
    Upon completion, an email containing a link to the client center will be sent to you. Access your photos conveniently from the client center, where you can proceed to download them.
  • What if I am not happy with my photos?
    At Virtual Tidewater, our commitment is to deliver outstanding service and ensure your satisfaction with our photography services. In the event of dissatisfaction with the provided images, whether due to technical errors or failure to meet standards, please reach out to us within 7 days of receiving the images for resolution. We are prepared to offer a complimentary reshoot or image correction, and, if necessary, consider a partial or full refund. Agents are entrusted with ensuring the property is "photo-ready." While our photographers will identify any potential issues, it's important to note that if the property appears cluttered in person, it will be reflected in the photos. For any specific requirements related to your order, kindly communicate them before the scheduled appointment. You can utilize the special instructions section on the order form to convey any specific details, ensuring we meet your expectations.   • What is the best way to download photos & video to my phone?
