Meet Rosalind
Founder & Original Photographer
Rosalind is the founder and original photographer behind Virtual Tidewater — a lifelong visual problem-solver who loves technology, design, and how spaces come together. Her passion for real estate started long before she ever picked up a camera.
Early Roots in Design
Growing up in a family ceramic tile business, Rosalind spent her childhood learning to notice details most people overlook - finishes, materials, craftsmanship, and how spaces come together. After college, she worked in the tile showroom, collaborating with builders and designers to help bring their projects to life. That hands-on experience sparked a deeper interest in construction, design, and real estate.
From Agent to Innovator
In 2004, Rosalind became a real estate agent; back when listings were limited to just eight MLS photos. Determined to make her listings stand out, she embraced photography, floor plans, websites, and virtual tours long before they became industry standards. While it may not have been the best use of prospecting time, it was exactly where her passion lived.
Birth of Virtual Tidewater
Other agents quickly took notice and began asking Rosalind to photograph their listings. What started as helping colleagues soon evolved into Virtual Tidewater. As demand grew, Rosalind transitioned out of selling real estate to focus full-time on building a media company dedicated to helping agents market their properties beautifully and effectively.
Built on Real People
Today, Virtual Tidewater is powered by a carefully selected local team; hired for talent, professionalism, and shared commitment to service.
