About the job

Photographers are hired as a 1099 Independent contractor and are paid by the job.  Benefits include being able to choose your own schedule and work independently.  Administrative support staff helps with scheduling and customer service. Photographers travel throughout Hampton Roads to photograph homes for sale.  They work with real estate agents and sellers to ensure high quality photos are taken to market the homes.  Homes will mostly be prepped and photo ready, however a great photographer will help point out minor staging that may need to be done to create the best photo (Photographers do not move items, it is up to the agent/homeowner to move items if necessary).  Other tasks include creating 3D tours, walk-thru videos, and aerial photography/videography (must be FAA Part 107 Licensed to provide aerial photography).  Training is provided.

Qualifications

​

• Ability to operate a camera in manual mode and be familiar with bracketing and using a flash. 

• Reliable transportation

• Good communication skills

• Photographers supply their own equipment - sturdy tripod, semi-pro camera, ultrawide lens (12-14 mm for crop sensor, 16 mm for full frame), external flash required. 

• Software requirements - Lightroom and Photoshop

• Must love dogs (many homes we enter have pets! at minimum photographers need to be comfortable around them).
